Paul Hicks Vice President, Supply Chain Practice

Paul is responsible for the vision, operations and ultimate success of 17th Floor, a division of Wise Men specializing in supply chain and procurement staffing and consulting.

Prior to joining Wise Men, Paul founded and served as CEO of The Procurement Centre (TPC), making it profitable within just four months of its inception. In 1999, TPC was the fourth fastest growing privately held company in Houston, according to the Houston Business Journal and Arthur Andersen.

Paul was also co-owner of Service Industrial Supply Company (Sisco) from 1980 to 1995. He was responsible for establishing partnering arrangements with companies such as Shell Oil, Duke Energy, CNG, Transco, Columbia Gulf and El Paso. Sisco grew to be one of the largest suppliers of pipeline fittings in the United States.
